Crowds flocked to the Heritage centre in Trehafod last Saturday to enjoy Menter Iaith's first Parti Nadolig y Porth. Helping with the festivities were dawnswyr Bro Taf, Heini, Martyn Geraint and Bethan Mason all of which made this a family day of Xmas fun which everybody enjoyed - despite the wet weather outside. Menter Iaith would like to thank the hundreds who turned up and made the day such a success, and of course the stand holders who were kept busy by the crowds : some who were hunting for the answers to the clues in the treasure hunt. The winner was Dylan Morgan Griffith from Pontypridd who walked away with a Nintendo Wii as an early Xmas present.
Many walked away with a Christmas present, though it was quite a hunt looking for Santa down that deep dark mine.
There will be another Party next Christmas, so if you missed this first one, be certain not to miss the next.
