Eighteen young people ( 14-15 years old) from Ysgol y Cymer and Ysgol Rhydywaun took part in a day of team building activities at Canolfan Daerwynno, Llanwynno. The day was organised by Menter Iaith and forms a part of the youngsters' OCN qualification in the communications short course.

SUMMER CHILD CARE SERVICE IN GARTH OLWG This year, Menter Iaith will be holding all day holiday child care at Ysgol Garth olwg, Church Village between July 27th and August 21st. Primary school children ( derbyn to year 6) will be able to enjoy a variety of sports, craft and entertainment activities, whilst being cared for by qualified staff. Communities First Coffee Mornings for Learners a number of Communities First Partnerships have begun to hold coffee mornings at different locations for both Welsh learners and Welsh speakers who live in the areas. There is a tutor present for informal questions and advice and to help with conversation. These coffee mornings can be found at the following locations :
